Auto Radiator Co. has been servicing & repairing A/C systems since 1964. We service vehicles with R134A refrigerant, & convert R12 systems to R134A.
There are many facts and myths about converting R12 Freon systems. It's not as simple as some people claim nor is it as complicated as others claim. As certified repair technicians, we will convert your R12 Freon system correctly, and as required under the federal Clean Air Act.
The federal Clean Air Act does not require a vehicle which is factory equipped with a R12 Freon system to be converted to R134a refrigerant. R12 Freon may continued to be used as long as it remains available. The Clean Air Act, also, does NOT prohibit the recharging or toppping off of an air conditioning system which has not been checked for leaks, or is known to be leaking. However, to protect our enviroment, we strongly urge system leaks to be repaired before charging the system.

Leak Detection
Auto Radiator Co. has an excellent record finding refrigerant leaks. We use two methods of leak detection. We have Yokogawa electronic leak detectors which are top of the line & flourescent leak dye which is injected into the A/C system. We have the lastest, LED-UV light which provides the best results in leak dye detection.
